Dwyllis Brown

Dwyllis became a professional fundraiser in 1992 after applying for a fundraising job. Since then she has involved in many aspects of fundraising including being a fundraising manager, trainer and mentor. 

One of the most active FINZ members, Dwyllis has been on the Central committee, including as a member and as Chairperson from 1995 to 1996. At a national level she has been involved as a presenter at three FINZ conferences, as a mentor, was a member of the Ethics Committee from 1997 to 2005 and a FINZ representative on the Accountability of Charities and Sporting Bodies Working Party 1996/2000. 

Dwyllis believes being a member of FINZ has helped with her professional development, networking both in New Zealand and overseas. She has developed great friendships and believes she has benefited greatly from working with specific codes of ethics and conduct which she says greatly to the professionalism of the industry.
